Louisville Rescue Mission is an evangelical Christian ministry.  Its mission is to proclaim the gospel and extend God's mercy to the homeless and hurting of the greater Louisville area in support of the local church.  It hosts a long-term discipleship program for 15-20 hurting or homeless men to equip them for sustainable living and make disciples of them.  They welcome local churches and ministry teams to provide meals for these men after their evening chapel service.  We are looking for 5-10 individuals to help bring a meal in the evening on June 18th.  This would be a great way to show God's love to others by serving a ministry that seeks to point men to the great Healer and Redeemer, Jesus Christ!  Our hope is to serve a meal to the Louisville Rescue Mission 2-3 times a year.

What: We will be providing a meal for 15-20 men involved in the evening discipleship program.  You can sign up in the church lobby if you would like to help.

Where: Louisville Rescue Mission is located at 733 E. Jefferson Street Louisville, KY 40202 There is a small parking lot behind the building where we will meet.

When: June 18th The food will need to be prepared beforehand and brought to Louisville Rescue Mission at 5:30pm.  This will give us time to set up and pray for the men we are about to serve and talk with. We will begin serving the meal at 6pm and should be done around 7:30pm.
